The thinking experience proposed by this reading of the first two chapters of Maurice Blanchot’s novel Le Très-Haut traces the narrative of a subject’s psychic crisis. Another narrative, the individual struggle of the subject with his fate, attempts to restore the unsconscious programruling the patient. This study structures the impact of the disease upon the body, circulating and metabolizing in the region of the oesophagus, and tries to re-establish the links between the narrative’s characters, following their misunderstandings and incomprehensions. The unexplained world is the fright seizing the subject when back into the daily life and who seeks a form of recognition in the tiny inner voice of the other.
